In the next four years, expect action items and updates with a healthy dose of thoughts and writing…that’s how we all began here together isn’t it? I guess I will revel in how everything comes full circle. 🫠 And for those of you that came in person last Sunday, I promise an email is coming your way. The need to rest hit me and I’ve been attempting to honor it before it pulls me under. 🩵🫶🏻

Sunday was our first (of many to come!) in-person Sunday was our first (of many to come!) in-person events with over 50 attendees…double the amount we estimated!! Being in-person with everyone was medicine for the soul. Perks of being able to control the weather 😉? You get perfect days like Sunday. 🙏🏻 Thank you to @watchingthefundscobb @jmtheadvocate @solomonadesanya4ga @stacyefrat and so many more for speaking! So grateful that so many walked away with actionable and sustainable ways to get involved with school boards, local orgs, Cobb Dems, @momsdemand and more. 🩵🫶🏻Thank you to EVERYONE who showed up! 🍑So very grateful for the Cobb Bonfire where Stacy and I began cooking this up and then 2 days later hopped on a zoom call with Ana…and Community for Change began... 🧺This was our first picnic with a purpose, and it will not be our last. 🗓️ Missed this one? We will be having one a quarter so stay tuned for the next date! Will be sending a recap email soon! Stay tuned! How will we get through the next four years? 💖Yesterday we headed to @silverspotcinema to see @ 💖Yesterday we headed to @silverspotcinema to see @wickedthemovie 👯‍♀️ The girls decided that they were going to dress in theme…they don’t miss an opportunity to glam up and dress the part…this was all their doing! Welcome to 2 girl life 🤣 💚It was the medicine for the soul we all needed. ✨I was lucky enough to see this on Broadway with my besties in college when we briefly lived in NYC…and this version DID NOT disappoint (except Daffin was upset that part 2 isn’t ready yet…) 💖 I bawled…obviously. This musical has always hit me in the gut, and is one of my fave car singing soundtracks, but woof…hit differently in current times. 😭 Have yall seen it yet?! #family #familymovie #wicked #wickedthemovie
